Joining Dust City Rollers

Do you want to get involved with roller derby or are you already with another league and planning a visit? We are always looking for new members of any kind! Roller derby is open to anyone with a passion for it – regardless of age, body shape, gender or sexual orientation.

Beginner

Have you ever wanted to try roller derby? We run newbie classes that start once or twice each year where we teach you everything you need to know, no prior skills required! Before the start of the classes, we host Newbie Days for you to try out skating and meet our team. Check our news or follow our Instagram or Facebook to get updates on the next Newbie Day.

To become a skater with Dust City Rollers, you need to be
– at least 18 years old
– a woman or non-binary person

Visitor

If you are visiting Graz for a short time and wish to attend our trainings while you are here, contact info@dustcityrollers.com. Make sure to include your skating experience and which team you currently skate with.

Transfer

If you are already an experienced skater with another league and plan to move to Graz, send an e-mail to info@dustcityrollers.com. Please let us know which league you last skated with and how much skating experience you have.

Official

Our own group of experienced officials is always happy to welcome new members! If you are interested in becoming an official yourself (skating or non-skating), they will assist you in your growth. Skating officials can attend our newbie classes to learn the basic skating skills necessary.
